Born in Morocco with a deep sensitivity to the invisible— and to places in particular, to what they hold and how they make you feel — Dounia Safouane grew up sensing that the material world was only one layer of a larger reality. That intuition did not lead her away from rigour — it led her toward it. To understand how the world actually works, she entered its most demanding institutions.

She trained at ESCP — one of Europe's leading business schools and oldest in the world— before building a career that moved across investment banking, strategy and marketing consulting, and the world of innovation and startups in Paris and London. Each discipline added a new lens: how capital moves, how organisations decide, how markets are read, how new ideas find their form.

The turn toward space came next. Drawn by the relationship between aesthetics, function, and human wellbeing, she studied at St Martin's School of Arts in London and trained in interior architecture at the prestigious Ecole Boulle in Paris — and co-founded L'Officiel Deco Design Morocco, a spin-off of L'Officiel de la Mode bringing a refined editorial vision of design to North Africa.

It was this question that led her to Vastu. Not as a departure from the rational world — but as its logical continuation. If a space shapes those who inhabit it, then the science of how spaces are structured energetically is not mysticism. It is architecture at a deeper level of resolution.

Discovering that the invisible
has its own precision.

Her encounter with Vastu — the ancient Indian science of sacred architecture — confirmed what she had long sensed: that there are structural laws governing the invisible, as exacting as any in physics or finance. She immersed herself in the Vedic traditions, finding a resonance so strong it reshaped her entire practice.

She trained in the lineage transmitted by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother — a rare and rigorous approach that enables structural corrections to space without dependence on astrology, working instead with the fundamental architecture of living environments. Today she is among the very few certified Vastu practitioners in Europe in this tradition.

Parallel to this, she discovered the science of vibration through Fabien Maman, the French composer and acupuncturist recognised as the founder of sound therapy as a modern healing discipline. Under his training, she became a certified vibratory therapist — learning to work with tuning forks, colour, light, and therapeutic sound to recalibrate the human bioenergetic field along Chinese meridian pathways.

In 2020, a defining encounter: Dounia discovered the teachings of Matías De Stefano, the Argentinian consciousness teacher and founder of the Arsayian Foundation. The resonance was immediate and the engagement deepened over time. She has accompanied him since in his planetary events — including Egypt in 2022, among others — and as a regular collaborator and inspirer within his foundation. She became the carrier of the French voice of YoSoy, carrying his teachings into the French-speaking world and connecting individuals and communities to a wider collective mission of awakening.

She also trained in spirotherapy with Samuel Ganes — a prolific published author in France — deepening her work with the breath as a precision tool for nervous system regulation and energetic transformation.

Bringing it all into practice — so others can too.

The founding of Consciousness Technologies was not a pivot. It was the inevitable synthesis of two decades of rigorous formation — in boardrooms and in sacred sites, in architectural studios and in ceremonial fields. The title Frequency Architect was not chosen for its poetry. It is structurally accurate.

The practice is organised around three equally weighted pillars. Vastu — structural correction of the energetic architecture of homes, businesses, and hospitality environments, working at the level of space itself. The Sound & Light Clinic — individual precision sessions using tuning forks, chromatic light, colour silks, and therapeutic sound to recalibrate the human field at the source of imbalance. And Conscious Business — a coherence-based consulting methodology for founders, leaders, and organisations, drawing on a framework rooted in the 12 archetypes of consciousness as a tool for balanced management and clearer decision-making.

Alongside this, Dounia has built a consistent public practice of lunar and astrological readings — delivered live on YouTube with every Full Moon and New Moon for years — and holds private Moon gatherings within The Lighthouse community. These are not separate from the practice. They are its rhythm.
